Part double helix , part disco ball, the Mirror Swirl is a playful investigation of the introverted and extroverted nature of reflection. Its form is reminiscent of the structure of DNA, the inner essence of humanity, and its surfaces are composed entirely of mirror - our primary source of self-perception in relation to the exterior world. Spectators are invited to multiple fragmented views of themselves moving within the surroundings, while simultaneously, the Mirror Swirl functions as a giant disco ball, reflecting rotating beams of light throughout its environment.
